What is smover?
smover is a real estate platform for home search, provider comparison, Move planning, and transaction coordination. Search for homes in your own words, compare agent profiles using available transaction records, request interviews, and keep confirmed dates, selected documents, decisions, and updates together.
Is smover a moving company?
No. smover is a real estate platform for buying, selling, and planning a move, not a moving company, van line, or relocation-logistics service. It helps you search for homes, compare provider profiles and available records, request interviews, and keep confirmed Move information together.
What agent information does smover show?
Agent profiles can include available closed transaction records such as total sales, sale volume, sold-to-list ratio, average days on market, and geographic concentration. Record coverage can vary and does not verify provider identity, establish a preferred order, endorse a provider, or predict your outcome. Interview candidates directly and confirm credentials before choosing representation.
Is smover free for buyers and sellers?
Searching homes and browsing public agent-profile information does not require payment. Current terms allow up to 3 agent interviews at no cost per search; additional interview requests have separate pricing. Optional Move services and provider subscriptions are priced separately.
What areas does smover cover?
smover covers the Mid-Atlantic: Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, New Jersey, and Washington, D.C. Home search currently has the deepest coverage in Northern Virginia and is expanding across the region.
How does smover home search work?
Tell us what you want — for example, "Three bedrooms in Arlington under $600K with a yard." We read what you wrote, pull out the details, and search active listings. Refine with a follow-up message anytime.
How does smover work compared to other portals?
smover connects home search, provider comparison, interviews, and Move planning. You can review available transaction records, discuss terms directly, and keep confirmed Move dates, documents, decisions, and updates in one place.
What does "verified sales data" mean?
It means the displayed metrics are calculated from available closed transaction records, which can include sale prices, days on market, and sold-to-list ratios. It does not mean smover has verified a provider's identity or endorsed that provider, and record coverage can vary.
How do agent interviews work on smover?
After comparing agents on smover, you can request an interview with up to 3 agents. Interviews are conducted online (video or chat), on your schedule. You control the process: no cold calls, no pressure, no surprise visits. Each agent receives your requirements so the conversation is focused and productive.
Can I discuss agent compensation on smover?
Yes. You can ask any agent on smover about their fee structure before you decide to interview or hire. Agent compensation is negotiated between you and your agent in your buyer-broker or listing agreement, separately from smover. smover does not take any part of agent compensation.
How should I use agent transaction records?
Use the records as one comparison input. Review the available dates, locations, prices, and market metrics, then ask each agent about relevant experience, services, compensation, and terms. Record coverage varies and does not predict your outcome.
How do agents get listed on smover?
Agent profiles are created from available transaction records within the coverage area. Agents can claim an eligible showcase to manage profile information, add a photo, and publish supported updates. A linked claim describes account ownership of that showcase, not provider identity verification or endorsement.
Is my personal information safe on smover?
Yes. smover uses industry-standard encryption and authentication (via Google OAuth or email/password). Your contact information is only shared with agents you explicitly choose to interview. smover does not sell user data or share it with third parties for advertising.
What is the "From Search to Sold" workflow?
smover's end-to-end workflow covers four steps: (1) Search: find homes online. (2) Interview: meet matched agents online. (3) Discuss: ask each agent about their approach, terms, and fees before you hire. (4) Hire: sign digitally and start working with your agent.
Does smover work for both buying and selling?
Yes. Buyers can search listings and compare buyer-side records. Sellers can compare listing-side records. When available, smover presents the two sides separately so you can review relevant transaction history before interviewing an agent.
How often is agent data updated?
Displayed agent metrics are rebuilt when new transaction data is ingested. The current record window covers up to the last 3 years, and coverage can vary by provider and market.
